چکیده

Abstract The Baiyun gold deposits in the Qingchengzi ore concentration area have significant deep exploration potential. Transient electromagnetic (TEM) is conducted to identify ore-bearing strata and ore-controlling structures mining area’s periphery. Previous tests revealed that it challenging penetrate conductive layer obtain information using a conventional in-loop TEM method with an induction coil. Field data are acquired high-temperature superconductor (HTS) superconductive quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer fixed-loop configuration. results indicate SQUID system can detect distribution of strata, ore-control within formations. paper explores two extension areas east west thrust nappe structural belt. inversion reveal deposit significantly compressed, noticeable thrusts faults. Since fault zone extends south stably, lower section has gentle dip angle favorable for prospecting.

Development of a TDEM Data Acquisition System Based on a SQUID Magnetometer for Mineral Exploration

We report on the research and development of a TDEM data acquisition system (SQUITEM) by JOGMEC using a highly sensitive high-temperature superconductor (HTS) SQUID vector magnetometer cooled by liquid nitrogen, which is suitable for mineral exploration. JOGMEC has achieved stable long-term operation of all three channels during field tests. SQUITEM meets high requirements for slew rate (6.8mT/...

Noninvasive Measurement of Gastric Propagation Using a Squid Magnetometer

A vector Superconducting QUuntum Interference Device (SQUID} magnetometer wus used to meusure the magnetic fields nssociated with propagation of gustric electrical uctivity. Measurements of the magnetic field vector were consistent with the presumed pattern of current propagation in the gastric musculature. Further studies using two SQUID systems ullowed the first noninvasive determination of t...

Noninvasive diagnosis of mesenteric ischemia using a SQUID magnetometer.

OBJECTIVE The authors assessed the ability of a Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) magnetometer to noninvasively detect mesenteric ischemia in a rabbit model. SUMMARY BACKGROUND DATA Superconducting Quantum Interference Device magnetometers have been used to detect magnetic fields created by the basic electrical rhythm (BER) and to detect changes in BER of exteriorized bowel ...

Ultimate limitation of the SQUID magnetometer

The Superconducting QUantum Interference Device is used to detect weak biomagnetic signals since in the early seventies. In that time the measurement was based on point contact rf SQUIDs operated at 20 MHz, with to a flux noise of the order of 10-4 Φ 0/ √Hz . After finding methods to fabricate reliable thin-film devices, the dc SQUIDs started gradually replace the rf SQUIDs. [1] The dc SQUID wi...
